Ruger Redhawk 5011

New In Box RUGER Redhawk Double-Action Revolver, Model RH-44, 44 Remington Mag Caliber, 7 1/2" Barrel, Blued Finish, Wood Grips When the Ruger Redhawk was first introduced in 1979, it signaled an important advance in the design of heavy-frame, double-action revolvers. Ruger's patented double-frame cylinder lock was first used in this design. The original Redhawk was also the first double-action revolver specifically designed to handle the powerful .44 Magnum cartridge, and it pioneered the patented Ruger "single spring" mechanism for both hammer and trigger. Now these and other genuinely advanced features are also built into the impressive Super Redhawk and other Ruger revolvers as well. Available in .44 Magnum, .45 Long Colt, .454 Casull, and the new .480 Ruger calibers, the Redhawk and Super Redhawk are world-renowned for strength, safety, and rugged reliability. Both the Redhawk and the Super Redhawk designs feature extra metal in the top strap and in the critical areas below and surrounding the barrel threads. The design includes no sideplate, so both sidewalls remain intact as integral sections of the frame for increased strength and rigidity. This important advance allows these revolvers to withstand the stresses imposed by the powerful calibers. The Super Redhawk, chambered in the new .480 Ruger and the powerful .454 Casull, is ideal for sportsmen using a handgun to hunt big game, and is also popular among metallic silhouette shooters. The strong extended frame and use of the Ruger-patented Integral Scope Mounting System on the wide top strap provide a solid scope-mounting surface, making the Super Redhawk perfect for big-game hunting. Patented Ruger cushioned grips help absorb recoil for even more comfortable handling. The .454 Casull also accepts .45 Long Colt cartridges. The new .480 Ruger cartridge is an exciting new development in handgun hunting cartridges. It offers approximately a third more energy than the powerful .44 Magnum, able to stop big game reliably at typical handgun range. Specifications: Caliber: 44 Rem Mag, 45 Long Colt, 454 Casull/45 Long Colt, 480 Ruger Action: Both single and double action Cylinder: 454 Casull and 480 Ruger models have non-fluted cylinders, other models have fluted Finish: Blue(B), Satin stainless (SS), Target Gray Stainless (TG) Capacity: 6 rounds Bbl Length: 5 1/2", 7 1/2" & 9 1/2" Sights: Adjustable rear and interchangeable front sights.
