The magazine comes with a floor plate which is extended at the front for faster magazine change, and a orange follower, while the flared mag-well makes it easier to funnel the magazine into the mag-well. Pietta F.lli 1851 NAVY YANK SHERIFF'S YAS36

As with several other Colt designs, the 1851 Navy (along with several Southern made copies) served on both sides of the Civil War and soldiered on for many years afterward in the hands of such men as 'Wild Bill' Hickock and 'Buffalo Bill' Cody. With over a quarter of a million manufactured between 1850 and 1873, the 1851 Navy was one of the most popular, long-lived, and widely encountered "cap n' ball" revolvers in the wild west.
