The G17 Gen5 features a no finger grooved, multiple backstrapped, rough textured frame with hundreds of miniature spikes which results in remarkable traction for extreme environments and gloved operators. The frame also features a smooth trigger, reversible mag release, and ambidextrous slide stop. The magazine comes with a floor plate which is extended at the front for faster magazine change, and a orange follower, while the flared mag-well makes it easier to funnel the magazine into the mag-well. Glock\'s nDLC finish provides a tougher, more durable protection against corrosion and scratching. Les Baer’s actual signature and the legend "25th Anniversary" have been engraved, then inlaid with white gold on the top of the slide. Exquisitely crafted hand engraving on both sides of the slide and frame. All the flat metal surfaces have been hand prepared with ultra-fine 1200-grit material, then the entire pistol has been finished with a deep, rich Charcoal Bluing. Each pistol comes with real ivory grips. A special presentation box is included. Like the Presentation Grade Model, this new commemorative model starts life as a fully equipped and fully functional Baer Premier II pistol. The Premier II© is also available as a dual caliber 45 ACP/.400 Cor-Bon combo, with both barrels fit at the same time to guarantee easy interchangeability and equal accuracy for both calibers.
