The G17 Gen5 features a no finger grooved, multiple backstrapped, rough textured frame with hundreds of miniature spikes which results in remarkable traction for extreme environments and gloved operators. The frame also features a smooth trigger, reversible mag release, and ambidextrous slide stop. The magazine comes with a floor plate which is extended at the front for faster magazine change, and a orange follower, while the flared mag-well makes it easier to funnel the magazine into the mag-well. Glock\'s nDLC finish provides a tougher, more durable protection against corrosion and scratching. The Glock Marksman barrel features a barrel rifling which delivers improved accuracy. his Glock Gen5 model has AmeriGlo night sights (green with orange outline front and green rear) and a 10-round capacity. L.A.R. Manufacturing Grizzly Win Mag Mark I
The Grizzly Win Mag pistol has been designed by Perry Arnett Heinz Augat from L.A.R. Manufacturing Inc (USA; L.A.R. stands for names of company founders - Larisch, Augat and Robinson) and made from 1984 to 1999. This pistol was been designed around the very powerful .45 Winchester Magnum. Standard Grizzly Mark I pistols were sold chambered in .45 Win Mag, but patented factory conversion kits were available for additional calibers, including .45ACP, 10mm Auto, .357 Magnum and several others. Later on, LAR manufacturing also introduced two slightly enlarged version of the Grizzly, known as Mark IV and Mark V. Mark IV pistols were chambered for popular .44 Magnum revolver round; Mark V were chambered for very powerful .50AE ammunition. Although the manufacture of Grizzly pistols stopped in 1998, L.A.R. Manufacturing Inc is still in business and still offers spare parts on a very limited basis for Grizzly Win Mag pistols. Between 1983 and 1999, approximately 15,000 guns were produced in four versions capable of firing 6 different cartridges. All guns were hand fitted and capable of high accuracy. The standard Grizzly models had a 5.5" slide, most often seen fitted with a 6.5" barrel which extends one inch beyond the slide, and less commonly with a 5.5" barrel in combination with a factory fitted bushing style recoil compensator. Special models with 8" and 10" barrels for hunting and silhouette competition were also produced (in small quantities). Technically, LAR Grizzly pistols were a scaled up copies of eternal Colt M1911 pistol, designed by John Browning. Grizzly used same locked breech, short recoil operated action with tilting barrel and swinging link. Trigger was of Single action type, with exposed hammer, automatic grip safety and frame-mounted manual safety. Magazines were single stack. Standard sights were of target type, with fully adjustable rear.
