The G17 Gen5 features a no finger grooved, multiple backstrapped, rough textured frame with hundreds of miniature spikes which results in remarkable traction for extreme environments and gloved operators. The frame also features a smooth trigger, reversible mag release, and ambidextrous slide stop. The magazine comes with a floor plate which is extended at the front for faster magazine change, and a orange follower, while the flared mag-well makes it easier to funnel the magazine into the mag-well. Kimber is known for their quality pistols, mainly 1911 variants. But this K6s is their first venture into the revolver world. It is a light weight double action .357 mag created to be an excellent option for carry and conceal or home defense. It features a light weight stainless steel frame with a short 2 barrel, pao ferro wood grips and of course the same quality manufacturing reliability that is synonymous with the Kimber name. This first edition revolver comes with a wooden display case with etched glass.
