9mm - +P 124 Grain JHP - Speer Gold Dot Short Barrel - 20 Rounds
This 9mm +P cartridge from Speer Gold Dot’s “Short Barrel” line of ammunition sports a 124 grain jacketed hollow point projectile. The round’s bullet’s uniformly thick jacket is electrochemically bonded to its alloyed lead core, which virtually eliminates separation of the two for optimal weight retention during penetration. This round further offers a sensitive CCI primer, as well as clean burning powder that delivers an ideal velocity and chamber pressure. This round is designed to function optimally in handguns with barrels as short as 1.9 inches; It produces comparatively lesser recoil in smaller pistols without forfeiting penetration and expansion, and it feeds reliably in them as well. This cartridge’s brass casing is nickel plated, a feature which even further promotes certain feeding, as well as protection against corrosion.
