Here we have an original, 1908 manufactured, Colt Bisley model of the single action army. Introduced in 1894, the Bisley was designed as a target pistol and named after the Bisley range in England. This particular revolver is chambered in 38-40 Winchester. With production ceasing in 1912, less than 50,000 Bisley revolvers were manufactured.
