Remington Arms 25

The Remington Model 25 is a semiautomatic, solid breech, hammerless, takedown, side-ejection rifle chambered in 25-20 Winchester or 32-20 Winchester (32 WCF). The Remington Model 24 was developed in 1923 by John D. Pedersen and Remington's C.C. Loomis and made by Browning Arms until 1935. Approximately 33,000 of them were made until 1935 when production ceased. Serial Numbers started with 00001 and ended with 33000. Grades Offered: Grades Offered: 25A Standard, 25C Special, 25D Peerless, 25E Expert and 25F Premier. Variations: 25R Carbine (with 18" barrel). In general appearance and operation, the Model 25 is similar to the Remington Model 14 and Model 12. The rifle can be taken down without the use of any tools. The safety is a cross-bolt style, located in rear of the trigger. There is a Model 25R Carbine version with an 18 inch barrel and straight stock.
