John Rigby & Co. African Express 416R24"
John Rigby & Co. has long been regarded as the premier manufacturer of African Express bolt rifles, this tradition started in 1899 and has continued until the present day. In 1912 Rigby introduced the Quintessential African Express cartridge, the .416 Rigby Rimless magnum, which is still extremely popular for dangerous game. All Rigby bolt action rifles are built on "claw" extraction bolt actions. Other calibers are available upon request. All stocks are exhibition grade English Walnut and are checkered at 22 Lines Per Inch. Stocks are custom fitted to individual client specifications. Stocks are fitted with decelerator pads and mercury tubes may be installed to lessen perceived recoil.
