FN 56502 M249S Para Semi-Automatic 223 Remington/5.56 NATO 16.1\" 30+1 Telescoping Black Stk Flat Dark Earth Part of FN\'s Military Collector Series, the M249S Para is the semi-auto version of the government-issue FN M249 Para designed for airborne, armored infantry and close quarters combat operations with a shorter barrel and collapsible buttstock. Thie M249S model has an ergonomic buttstock with a hydraulic buffer allowing the user to maintain a high rate of fire with accuracy. It has a formed steel frame, folding carry handle, flip-up feed tray cover and feed mechanism, primary sights graduated to 1000 meters, a top-cover integrated MIL-STD-1913 rail system for optics, non-reciprocating charging handle, integral, folding steel bipod, and a removable heat shield. The rifle features FN\'s signature 16\" cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel and operates from a closed bolt position. The rifle will accept both magazine and linked ammunition belt and offers a 4.0-6.5 pound trigger pull out-of-the-box. This model has a black stock and FDE metal finish.
