The TruBall rifled slug system is the most consistent group-to-group smoothbore slug on the market. With a simple ball that centers the slug in the barrel, Federal reinvented and redefined smoothbore slug technology and expectations. The TruBall Deep Penetrator slug is much harder (higher antimony) lead than the traditional TruBall and features a more distinct shoulder for extra toughness.
