Bushmaster Var24 ATACS

Features a fluted 24 inch chrome-moly steel extra-heavy varmint barrel (one inch diameter out to gas block) and eleven degree competition muzzle crown. Coated bore and chamber. One in nine inch twist free-floated with a vented aluminum fore-end. Two-stage competition trigger (3.5 pound takeup, 1 pound letoff). Ships with manual and 5 round magazine. Covered in A-TACS camouflage finish.

Weatherby's Vanguard Series 2 rifles are guaranteed to shoot a 3-shot group of .99" or less at 100 yards (SUB-MOA) when used with specified Weatherby factory or premium ammunition. The Vanguard S2 TRR Range Certified includes a match quality, two-stage trigger (adjustable down to 2.5 lbs.), lightweight, hand-laminated Monte Carlo composite stock (a combination of aramid, unidirectional fibers and fiberglass) with aluminum bedding plate, beavertail forearm and Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad, a matte bead blasted blued finish and 3-position safety. The Vanguard S2 TRR RC rifles come with a factory-shot target using the Oehler Research 83 Ballistic Imaging System, personally signed and certified by Ed Weatherby. This system provides cartridge information, atmospheric conditions, average velocity, bullet path, wind drift, downrange energy and power factor are just some of the ballistic data that will accompany your RC rifle.
