Bushmaster Var24 ATACS
Features a fluted 24 inch chrome-moly steel extra-heavy varmint barrel (one inch diameter out to gas block) and eleven degree competition muzzle crown. Coated bore and chamber. One in nine inch twist free-floated with a vented aluminum fore-end. Two-stage competition trigger (3.5 pound takeup, 1 pound letoff). Ships with manual and 5 round magazine. Covered in A-TACS camouflage finish.

Boasting a lightweight design that's easy to carry from ridge to ridge, a 26" barrel that enhances maneuverability and a Northwest-states-compatible design, Traditions' Vortek StrikerFire Backcountry Northwest Magnum Muzzleloader is perfect for hunting the rugged Northwest states. The internal StrikerFire system replaces the external hammer for fast cocking and the ability to mount scope closer to the bore. To cock, the striker button slides forward until it locks, while a recessed button allows it to be easily decocked. Exposed-nipple magnum-musket ignition system that uses musket caps meets state-specific legal requirements in Idaho, Washington and Oregon. Checking in at just 5.8 lbs., the lightweight, rugged and reliable LT-1 alloy frame sports a durable, weather-resistant nitride-coated finish and is mated to a 26" chromoly tapered, fluted barrel. Speed Load System makes loading quick and easy. Creep-free, competition-style, two-stage TAC2™ trigger is factory set at 2 lbs. A 1-in-28" rate of twist results in outstanding accuracy. Hogue® Comfort-Grip overmolding ensures a firm grip in any weather conditions. Stow-N-Go removable butt pad for storage inside the stock. Extended ambidextrous hammer extension. Solid-aluminum ramrod with Quick-T™ ramrod handle doubles as a T-handle bullet starter. Soft-touch synthetic camouflage stock. Accelerator Breech Plug™ is easily removed by hand. Dual-safety system. Williams™ metal fiber-optic sights allow you to get on target quickly, even in low-light conditions.
