SIG Sauer SIGMPX MPX-C-9-T
The Sig MPX-C-9 is the 9mm semi-automatic carbine variant of the Sig MPX with a 3-position telescoping stock and a 16 in barrel (6.5 in barrel with a 9.5 in muzzle brake permanently attached). It has a monolithic upper receiver with integral M1913 rail at 12 o'clock and free-float barrel system as well as an extended carbon fiber rail-adaptable handguard and a Sig MPX reflex sight. The Sig MPX operates with a fully closed and locked rotating bolt system, greatly enhancing operator safety, and employs the Sig's battle-proven gas-operated short stroke piston system for unequaled reliability, even under the most adverse conditions. This piston system offers reduced recoil, superior reliability and reduced fouling. The Sig MPX family has familiar AR-style controls with an ambidextrous safety/selector and magazine release while allowing the operator to change barrel length, caliber and stock configuration in the field to meet mission requirements, and the rear charging handle will not interfere with rail mounted accessories.
