Bushmaster Var24 ATACS
Features a fluted 24 inch chrome-moly steel extra-heavy varmint barrel (one inch diameter out to gas block) and eleven degree competition muzzle crown. Coated bore and chamber. One in nine inch twist free-floated with a vented aluminum fore-end. Two-stage competition trigger (3.5 pound takeup, 1 pound letoff). Ships with manual and 5 round magazine. Covered in A-TACS camouflage finish.
Hornady Superformance 300 Ruger Compact Magnum Sst 165gr 20 Box
The Hornady 300 Ruger Compact Magnums (RCM) outperform the 300 Win Mag cartridges, but in a short action rifle with a compact 20 barrel. This package delivers what all the short fat cartridges dont superior ballistic performance in a TRULY compact firearm platform that achieves velocity and performance as advertised! Superformance ammunition is 100 to 200 fps faster than conventional ammunition, and achieves this performance in every gun, without increases in felt recoil, muzzle blast, temperature sensitivity, fouling, or loss of accuracy. Superformance uses ultra progressive propellants that take your favorite SST or GMX bullets to levels of performance simply unattainable with conventional propellants. In order to get more velocity in the past, shooters have used a brute force approach with large charge weights of a slow burning powder in a larger cartridge case which ultimately leads to more recoil and muzzle blast. The Superformance solution utilizes specialized powders at normal charge weights that impart all usable energy to the bullet, reducing the rocket nozzle effect at the muzzle while still increasing velocity. Superformance is safe to use in all firearms, including semi-autos, lever gun and pump actions.
