Bushmaster Var24 ATACS
Features a fluted 24 inch chrome-moly steel extra-heavy varmint barrel (one inch diameter out to gas block) and eleven degree competition muzzle crown. Coated bore and chamber. One in nine inch twist free-floated with a vented aluminum fore-end. Two-stage competition trigger (3.5 pound takeup, 1 pound letoff). Ships with manual and 5 round magazine. Covered in A-TACS camouflage finish.
Hornady 308 Palma 155 Grain A Max Match
308 Winchester Palma Match At the heart of the 308 Winchester Palma Match load is the respected 155 grain A-MAX bullet that maintains supersonic velocities out to 1000 yards. The load achieves 2,850 fps from a 24-inch barrel but is still safely within established SAAMI pressure guidelines. Cases are hand selected based on strict criteria: wall thickness uniformity, internal capacity, case weight and consistent wall concentricity. We get proper bullet seating, consistent charges and pressures, optimal velocity and repeatable accuracy. The loading process for our match rifle ammo begins with hand selected components and a final hand inspection. Powder is matched carefully to each specific load for optimal pressure, velocity and consistent accuracy.
