Savage Arms MSR 15 Recon LRP 22931
The Savage SR15 Recon LRP is a AR15-style, direct-impingement "modern sporting rifle" with a bit of a twist. It has, unlike a standard AR, an 18-inch barrel in order to optimize velocities and accuracy. It also features a "softer-shooting" mid-length adjustable gas system, a two-stage trigger, and a free-float handguard. This rifle is chambered in 224 Valkyrie, a .22 caliber rimless bottlenecked rifle cartridge developed by Federal Premium in 2017 in order to rival the performance of the .22 Nosler. The 224 Valkyrie is capable of achieving velocities approaching 3,500 FPS and generating muzzle energy in excess of 1,500 ft/lb. Proponents claim significant ballistic advantages over the standard 5.56 NATO. Specifications: Hand:Right Hand Type of Barrel:Heavy Barrel Description:Direct Impingement
