Remington Arms 550A 22SHORT
The Remington 550A was manufactured from 1941 to 1946. 34,577 of them were made in that time. The Model 550A made use of a floating chamber design that allows the use of .22 Short, Long and LR ammo in this semi-auto rifle. That feature was acomplished by using two ejectors but in 1946 the Model 550A was redesigned to use only one ejector and that become the Model 550-1.
