McMillan Tactical Rifles TAC-416

Built on the same platform as the renowned TAC-50 rifle currently deployed by military services around the world, the TAC-416 is chambered in the .416 Barrett. The .416 Barrett is based on a shortened 50 BMG case with a .416 caliber bullet and is intended to provide superior long-range ballistic performance compared to the 50 BMG cartridge, especially past 1,000 yards. The TAC-416 utilizes the McMillan 50 caliber single shot action with the newly updated McMillan TAC-50 A1 stock with integral cheekpiece. The action is finished to match the color of the stock, in black, olive, gray, tan, or dark earth. The bolt is finished with the NP3 metal finish for durability and lubricity. The stock features 4 flushmount cups with 1 1” loops and a heavy duty bipod. The fluted Lilja match grade barrel has a 13” twist. It is available in either 29” Navy contour or 30” light contour. The TAC-416 is configured as a single shot. It includes a McMillan 30 MOA Picatinny sight base and is drilled and tapped for 8x32 scope base screws.
