M 03 De Luxe: Hand-engraved flowing leaf arabesques cover the whole of the action, the chamber surfaces and the trigger guard and capture the magnifi cence of wild game on the magazine fl oor plate. Motifs of wild boar, red deer, chamois, roe buck or cape buffalo can be selected for the magazine decoration. An especially fine grade 5 figured walnut wood is used in the construction of the M 03 De Luxe. ............Features: Mauser safety system for manual cocking * Locking by means of six large lugs directly inside the barrel * Short bolt lift of 60° * When uncocked, the action is locked. This is easily done in the firing position. Cocking the rifle: Move the cocking lever to the right, into the "Fire" position. A combi-trigger that can be used either as a crisp single-stage trigger or a fine-adjustment set trigger is available upon request. The set trigger is automatically deactivated when the rifle is uncocked. Sights and front sights are manufactured entirely out of steel, proving their worth with swift target acquisition. The cupro-nickel front sight bead stands out clearly against any background. Adjustable height of the front sight; rear sight is laterally adjustable. Upon request without open sight. Changing to a different caliber group is easy. The locking head can be replaced quickly without any tools. Interchangeable barrels: Simply open two captive nuts in the forearm to change barrels. Shorter barrels are available upon request: 52 cm (20") in standard caliber or 60 cm (23") in magnum caliber.
