Lithgow Small Arms 12
A project in 1947 between Lithgow and Slanzengers resulted in production of the very popular .22 bolt action Slazenger sporting rifle built on SMLE action. Manufacturing lasted from 1947 to 1955. It was manufactured with a 6-round magazine and in 1953 the "Bibby" 10-round magazine was introduced. Two position safety. Steel clip magazine. Australian Coach wood stock with original butt plate. Action has been dovetailed for Scope mounting. Barrel is firmly screwed into receiver - not pinned.
