This Kimber Open Country rifle is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, a cartridge with a reputation for long range accuracy and lethality against medium sized game. The Open Country rifle features a 24" heavy barrel that has been fluted to reduce weight and the muzzle is threaded 5/8-24" threaded. The stock of the rifle is made from reinforced carbon-fiber making the rifle both durable and lightweight. The Kimber Open Country rifle features Kimber’s M84 action with a Mauser two lug extractor and a match grade chamber.
