Cimarron 1873 Short

The famous Winchester 1873 is an American icon well known as "the gun that won the West". Popular with the Texas Rangers, the rifle became hugely popular as well with ranchers and cowhands. Since Colt offered their Peacemaker chambered in .44-40, the original 73's caliber, a person could have both their rifle and pistol use the same cartridge. Cimarron offers this beautiful modern day reproduction of a piece of rifle history in a number of models. This option, the Short Rifle, has a 20" barrel well suited to the saddle scabbard. A favorite in the world of Cowboy Action Shooting, the Cimarron 1873 is rugged and reliable. This one is a must for the collection of any Old West aficionado.
