Built as a result of numerous requests by the hunters who wanted a slightly shorter barrel and lighter swing weight in a carry rifle for predator hunting/calling, this 20� barreled version of the Varminter will deliver all the accuracy you�ve come to expect from a Bushmaster.
Ruger Scout Rifle 6822
Precision-rifled medium contour cold hammer-forged barrel. Non-rotating Mauser-type controlled round feed extractor features a fixed blade-type ejector that positively ejects the empty cases as the bolt is moved fully rearward. Integral scope mounts machined directly on the solid-steel receiver. Scope rings included. Flash suppressor reduces flash and can be removed from the 5/8 -24 threaded barrel. Forward mounted picatinny rail. Ghost ring adjustable rear aperture sight and a protected non-glare post front sight. Detachable box magazine with push-forward Mini-14 style magazine release. Soft rubber recoil pad with three 1/2 inch spacers included. Glass-reinforced nylon trigger guard and magazine well with black laminate stock, checkered grip and forearm. Features the Gunsite logo engraved on the grip and name rollmarked on the receiver. Includes three-position safety and sling swivel studs.
