Built as a result of numerous requests by the hunters who wanted a slightly shorter barrel and lighter swing weight in a carry rifle for predator hunting/calling, this 20� barreled version of the Varminter will deliver all the accuracy you�ve come to expect from a Bushmaster.
Ruger AR-556 8529
This Ruger AR-556 semi-automatic rifle is made from forged aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminum. The hard coat anodized, flattop upper receiver includes a forward assist, dust cover and brass deflector, while the Magpul M-Lok handguards are made from heat-resistant glass-filled nylon. It also has a bolt machined from 9310 alloy steel, single-stage trigger, chrome-plated bolt carrier with a matte black oxide finish on the exterior. The AR-556 also utilizes a heavy contour, cold hammer-forged barrel and ergonomic pistol grip.
