Built as a result of numerous requests by the hunters who wanted a slightly shorter barrel and lighter swing weight in a carry rifle for predator hunting/calling, this 20� barreled version of the Varminter will deliver all the accuracy you�ve come to expect from a Bushmaster.
Remington R25 60030
Carbon steel fluted barrel features .680 inch muzzle with recessed crown and Koelbl single rail gas block. Heat-treated 8620 steel bolt and bolt carrier. No sights. Aluminum free-floated hand guard. Upper receiver: 6066 T-Aluminum, hard-coated and full camo, forward-assist and shell deflector, right-hand eject with picatinny rail. Lower receiver: Milled from solid block of 6061T-Aluminum, hard-coated and full camo, internal trigger guard and aluminum mag release button. Standard A-2 Zytel stock with trap door assembly and A-2 Zytel pistol grip. Both in full Mossy Oak Treestand camo. Single stage hunting trigger set at 4 1/2 to 5 pounds pull. Four round magazine. Accepts aftermarket AR .308 type magazines. 1 in 10 inch twist. Weight 8 3/4 pounds.
