Built as a result of numerous requests by the hunters who wanted a slightly shorter barrel and lighter swing weight in a carry rifle for predator hunting/calling, this 20� barreled version of the Varminter will deliver all the accuracy you�ve come to expect from a Bushmaster.
Mauser Jagdwaffen M 03 Africa
The M 03 Africa combines all attributes of a classic big game bolt action rifl e with the safety and diversity of the M 03. The rifle’s excellent balance ensures a rapid and intuitive aim. In order to reduce the recoil of heavy calibers, each M 03 Africa has an extra strong, long barrel and a kick-stop installed in the stock. The M 03 Africa barrel is also available as an interchangeable barrel. The buck horn rear sight with cupro nickel contrast inlay can be laterally adjusted, the front sight with a 4 mm sharp-focus cupro nickel bead vertically adjusted. The sling swivel and the base for the front sight are mounted on the barrel using a steel barrel band to endure the toughest hunting conditions. Features: Mauser safety system for manual cocking * Locking by means of six large lugs directly inside the barrel * Short bolt lift of 60° * When uncocked, the action is locked.
