Built as a result of numerous requests by the hunters who wanted a slightly shorter barrel and lighter swing weight in a carry rifle for predator hunting/calling, this 20� barreled version of the Varminter will deliver all the accuracy you�ve come to expect from a Bushmaster.
Kimber Open Country
Perfect for hunters who move and call, the Open Country ensures a high level of performance by combining match-grade components, proper design and a carbon fiber stock. A rifle specifically designed for long range hunts, the Kimber Open Country rifle is capable of incredible accuracy at long distances. This Kimber Open Country rifle is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, a cartridge with a reputation for long range accuracy and lethality against medium sized game. The Open Country rifle features a 24" heavy barrel that has been fluted to reduce weight and the muzzle is threaded 5/8-24" threaded. The stock of the rifle is made from reinforced carbon-fiber making the rifle both durable and lightweight. The Kimber Open Country rifle features Kimber’s M84 action with a Mauser two lug extractor and a match grade chamber.
