Howa TSP
The Howa TSP X bolt-action rifle is new for 2020. The TSP stands for Tactical Shooting Platform. This gun is about as skeletonized as they come, and as such, it’s a fine quality design marvel available in 6.5 Creedmore (1:8” twist ratio), 6.5 PRC (1:8”) and long distance .300 PRC (1:8.5”) calibers. This Howa’s chassis is machined of 6061 T-6 aluminum that’s ruggedized with an anodized coating. Its key components such as the receiver, trigger guard, forward adaptor, buttstock and forend come together with a handful of bolts, and it weighs just 4.1 pounds. The TSP X has a supremely skeletonized folding buttstock that has an adjustable cheek rest. Length of pull can be adjusted by 1” (using combinations of included 5 mm thick spacers that fit between the buttstock and buttpad). The cheek rest can be adjusted 1.1” and even its yaw can be adjusted by 7 degrees to either side!
