Built as a result of numerous requests by the hunters who wanted a slightly shorter barrel and lighter swing weight in a carry rifle for predator hunting/calling, this 20� barreled version of the Varminter will deliver all the accuracy you�ve come to expect from a Bushmaster.
DPMS Raptor
Barrel: 16" Length w/Panther Flash Hider. 4140 chrome-moly steel AP4 style contour. Manganese Phosphated. 6 grooves, right-hand 1x9 twist, button rifled. Method of Operation: Gas operated rotating bolt. Bolt & Carrier: 8620 steel bolt carrier, heat treated and plated per Mil Spec. Phosphated steel bolt, heat treated and plated per Mil Spec. Sights: A2 front sight Assembly. Rear Mangonel Flip Up Sight. Weight: Empty - 8.2 lbs. Length: Extended: 37". Collapsed: 33". Upper Receiver: A3 Style, T-Marked, Forged. 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum alloy. Hard coat anodized per Mil Spec and Teflon coated black. Dust cover. Shell deflector. Round forward assist.
