Brown Precision Pro Hunter
Brown Precision originally designed and built the Pro-Hunter for professional hunters and guides who depend on absolute reliability and performance for hunting dangerous game under the toughest hunting conditions. The combination of heavy caliber and short barrel make it a fast and furious fight-stopper for those tight situations. Yet, the Pro-Hunter's weatherproof stock and metal finish, superb long range accuracy and finely tuned action and trigger also make it the ideal primary gun for big game hunting anywhere in the world. Brown Precision's Pro-Hunter is a true custom rifle build to a customer's own specifications: Custom tuned Remington 700 action (available in both left or right hand) * Custom chambering for virtually any standard or wildcat cartridge * Shilen Select Grade stainless steel barrel with custom crown, hand-fitted to action * Barrel length and contour: Customer's choice * Silent Leaf Express sights * Dull electroless nickel or black Teflon finish to all metalwork * Brown Precision Custom Fiberglass stock in Alaskan (or Classic) configuration with rear sling swivel attached * Custom stock length of pull * Barrel band front sling swivel * Premium 1" recoil-reducing butt pad * Speedlock firing pin spring * Trigger tuned to a crisp pull (customer specifies weight) * Scope mount bases by installed by Brown Precision will use Magnum duty 8 x 40 screws * Choice of stock finish colors: Black, Grey, Brown or Green * Weight: Depending on barrel length and contour, caliber, sights, scope mounts and other options, the Pro-Hunter can be built to weight anywhere between 7 and 15 lbs. Because this is a custom rifle, any of the standard features listed above may be left off or substituted at customer's request. The price of the rifle will be adjusted accordingly to reflect these changes.
Bushmaster Gas Piston 90294
The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston
