Rifles Descriptions

6.5 Creedmoor - 140 Grain OTM BT - Barnes Precision Match - 20 Rounds

You don’t use a Precision Match to light a campfire very carefully. You use it to make astounding long-distance shots at the rifle range! This 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge by Barnes is perfected to deliver peerless accuracy every time your firing pin strikes. This cartridge features a 140 grain open tip match boat tail bullet. Its nose cavity does not let the bullet expand like you would want for hunting. It’s there because the OTM’s core was inserted into its jacket while it was still molten. The bullet’s form-fitted core, intensely concentric jacket, narrow tapering boat tail base, and high uniformity give it a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.586 (G7 0.289). That’s sufficient to keep its velocity faster than 1,400 fps at 1,000 yards – just what the doctor ordered, if the doctor is prescribing long-distance ammunition. Some doctor! Barnes sockets their extremely consistent match bullet in a premium brass case, with a match primer and charge of carefully formulated and measured propellant to get the ball rolling. Precision Match cartridges are expertly inspected throughout manufacture to guarantee the most reliable performance possible from a factory load.

Bushmaster Gas Piston 90294

The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston
