Rifles Descriptions

5.56x45 - 55 Grain Tumble Upon Impact - Fort Scott Munitions - 20 Rounds

This 5.56x45 cartridge is excellent for self-defense applications – but its bullet does not expand during penetration. What is this magic? Fort Scott Munitions calls it “Tumble Upon Impact.” The 55 grain TUI projectile is made of pure, solid spun copper. It is accordingly match grade, as it lacks any flaws in its weight distribution or profile which could force it off balance in flight. A monolithic bullet penetrates barriers and soft tissue with exceptional efficiency, as it resists fragmentation that could cost a significant amount of its momentum. A lead-free bullet also helps preserve a rifle’s accuracy by preventing lead fouling of the bore. The accurate, deep-penetrating and clean-shooting TUI saves its most impressive trick for last. When it penetrates its target, it immediately begins to tumble around so it can rake its sharp tip against any muscle and organ tissues in its path. That and accompanying hydro-static shock make the TUI extremely effective at quickly neutralizing a threat. The TUI also poses reduced risk of potentially disastrous overpenetration! Whether you employ this ammo for precision shooting, home protection, or even hunting, you can trust its Kansan manufacturer’s high-quality brass, primers, powder, and loading techniques which bring them all together.

Bushmaster Gas Piston 90294

The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston
