This cartridge has a 165 grain pointed soft point bullet, with a sharp meplat that streamlines its overall profile and promotes greater accuracy. The aerodynamic bullet’s 0.435 G1 ballistic coefficient means that it retains at least 1,000 ft lbs of energy until 575 yards, and remains supersonic until 1,015 yards. The soft point bullet is the more affordable approach to hunting medium sized game, as it relies only on its exposed core to let loose rapid terminal expansion instead of a polymer tip.
