Rifles Descriptions

223 Rem - 55 Grain PSP - Remington High Performance Rifle - 20 Rounds

The sole purpose of the AR-15 isn’t just to see how many attachments it can support until you’re unable to lift it. It is also a fine tool for hunting! And with this 223 Rem cartridge from Remington’s High Performance Rifle label, the deer and hogs will hate to see your coming. This round features a 55 grain pointed soft point projectile. With its streamlined profile and 3,240 fps muzzle velocity, the bullet delivers a reliable 0.197 ballistic coefficient. That means its trajectory stays flat until it’s able to inflict more than 920 ft lbs of energy at 100 yards. The bullet’s exposed core enables it to expand considerably within soft tissue as well, letting it transfer all of that energy quickly as it establishes a wide wound channel. And while a good marksman could certainly make use of this round in the field, the home defender would find it equally useful! This round features a new production brass casing, with uniform dimensions to promote seamless feeding and extraction in a semi-automatic firearm. Remington’s modern primers are non-corrosive, and their propellant is formulated to keep your chamber and bore even cleaner while you’re out and about.

Bushmaster Gas Piston 90294

The Bushmaster Gas Piston System Rifles bring new levels of reliability to the “AR” type rifle platform by eliminating carbon build up, gas leaks and heat within the Upper Receiver. The Gas Piston System operates by tapping gas pressure off the barrel much like the systems found on AK-47s and FALs * Functions with a wider range of ammunition - less gas pressure - lower cyclic rate * Offers improved reliability and control - with cleaner operation and reduced recoil * Keeps carbon build up and powder residue from reaching - and fouling the Upper Receiver and Bolt Carrier * A Detented Plug in the Gas Block allows easy cleaning of the Systems’ Hard Chrome Plated Piston
