B&T APC556-PDW BT-36066
Light, short barrel assault rifles are a good choice for SWAT teams, urban warfare but also for general police work with regards to the actual terror threats. Unfortunately a short barrel produces an immense sound and light signature. The B&T APC556-PDW with integrated suppressor solves these disadvantages. The APC556-PDW is lightweight, compact 5.56 carbine an with an integrated suppressor. The barrel of the APC556-PDW is 222 mm long. A relatively short barrel such as this will normally produce a sound of more than 169 dB. This is not only very irritating during combat, but will also create permanent hearing loss to anyone in the immediate vicinity of the weapon. The suppressor will not only produce a reduction of about 20 dB, (148 dB) which is about 13 dB less than an unsuppressed 9 mm SMG (+/- 161 dB) but also reduce the muzzle fl ash significantly. Two-stage trigger. Piston rod operation. Dedicated sound suppressor. 100% ambidextrous controls. Hydraulic buffer for light recoil. Collapsable stock for easy transport. NAR-Rails at 3, 6, 9 o´clock position. Durable extruded aluminum upper receiver. Top rail extends the entire length of the receiver.
Bushmaster Var24 ATACS
Features a fluted 24 inch chrome-moly steel extra-heavy varmint barrel (one inch diameter out to gas block) and eleven degree competition muzzle crown. Coated bore and chamber. One in nine inch twist free-floated with a vented aluminum fore-end. Two-stage competition trigger (3.5 pound takeup, 1 pound letoff). Ships with manual and 5 round magazine. Covered in A-TACS camouflage finish.
