Beretta TX4 JXT1800
The TX4 Storm is a gas-operated semiauto tactical shotgun optimized for home defense. With a 5+1 capacity, flawless feeding of different loads, ghost-ring sights, a soft-recoiling mechanism and a short, maneuverable 18.5" barrel, it is perfect for its intended use right out of the box. But the TX4 is much more than a dedicated home-defense shotgun: thanks to its safe operation and premium handling, this shotgun is also ideal for law-enforcement use as well as tactical shooting and 3-gun matches. One of the important features that sets the TX4 Storm apart from other tactical shotguns is that it reliably feeds and shoots loads of different power. Essentially, it is a semiauto shotgun that feeds as reliably as a pump: from mild low-recoil loads to full-power thumpers as well as slugs, the TX4 will keep cycling no matter what you feed it. Thanks to its self-regulating gas-operating system, the TX4 has a “smart” action that adapts itself precisely and efficiently to the load used without any adjustment on the user’s part. Also, the barrel is threaded for choke tubes (Optima-Bore HP and Optima-Choke HP choke tube system): the included choke may be easily replaced to tailor the shot pattern to the intended use. The TX4 comes standard with a number of features highly prized by knowledgeable tactical shooters and law-enforcement professionals. The slim, elongated fore-end is ideal for quickly directing the barrel in different directions and moving it from target to target when negotiating tight spaces. The ghost-ring sights are designed for fast and intuitive target-acquisition, and the rear sight is removable should you want to equip the TX4 with the optics of your choice. For that purpose, a short Picatinny rail extends over the action, and will take a variety of tactical accessories without any modification. For a tactical shotgun, feel and shootability are of paramount importance. This is why Beretta has made it simple to tailor the TX4 to the size and shooting posture of individual users: the shotgun’s length of pull may be adjusted with ½” spacers (one included), so that it will always come up to the shoulder like an extension of the body. Also, the soft rubber grip inlays on the stock and fore-end ensure firm grip in all situations. And while putting it through a long session at the range, the self-cleaning mechanism is designed to keep delivering top-performance, while the easy disassembly-reassembly makes the TX4 low-maintenance and quick to clean.
Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets. The barrel comes back bored and threaded for Browning's Invector-Plus choke tubes (includes IC, M, & F) to deliver consistently tight shot patterns.
