The dove: international symbol of peace, and super fun to hunt. If you’ve already done your recon and know just which parts of the field you ought to post up in, then surely a case of 12 Gauge ammunition is all you need. Winchester’s Fast Dove High Brass loads will let you invite the whole neighborhood over for a good old-fashioned Texas-style dove barbecue! This shell gives its charge of #7.5 lead shot a mighty push. At 1,350 fps its muzzle velocity will present an unmistakable advantage while you’re out taking such small and zippy critters. This shell is loaded with only one ounce of shot, however, which does nicely to compensate for what could have been peppery recoil. Winchester has mastered the art of casting lead shot. These shells’ pellets are hard enough to resist deformation in the barrel, but not so hard that they won’t warp a little during penetration to deliver a cleaner kill. And this ammo’s #7.5 shot is not just good for dove hunting! It’s fine for hunting any other suitably sized upland birds when you’d like to lead less with your aim. Winchester’s shotshells are loaded with non-corrosive primers and clean-burning powder, so you can keep your shotgun in a good state while you’re out in the brush.
Browning Silver Hunter
The Browning(R) Silver Hunter(TM) Matte is a lightweight, fast handling semi-auto shotgun that's designed with upland bird hunting in mind; though its self-adjusting Active Valve gas system increases its versatility to include most any type of wing shooting or shooting sport. The Active Valve gas system vents excess gas out the top of the forearm, and away from the receiver for clean, reliable operation with 2-3/4" and 3" shells, without the need or adjustment. The Silver Hunter Matte model comes with a matte blued barrel, a 2-tone silver/black receiver, and a checkered Turkish walnut stock with a brown, ventilated recoil pad. The semi-humpback receiver design with a ventilated rib and brass front bead creates a sight picture that's quick to pick up and swing on moving targets.
