Browning Maxus Sporting

MAXIMUM RELIABILITY. MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE. Real-world reliability is the most important feature any manufacturer can build into a firearm. Thats why it was the first priority when we set about developing the Browning Maxus. The Power Drive Gas System is designed to perform under harsh hunting and shooting conditions with a wide array of loads. But reliability isnt the whole story. The Maxus delivers 18% less felt recoil for greater comfort, 44% less muzzle jump for more accurate follow-up shots, 19% faster bolt speed and 24% faster locktime than the nearest competitor. Unequalled reliability and features, all found in the finest, most reliable gas-operated autoloader ever to swing on a bird.

Winchester 1887 12GA30"

The Winchester Model 1887 was designed by John Browning for Winchester in 1887. The Winchester company was known at that time as makers of lever-action guns, and they wanted to keep that image and make a lever action shotgun. The Model 1887 was the first lever action shotgun made in the USA. It was a very popular shotgun at that time because with a capacity of 4+1 it offered more fire power than the standard side-by-side or over&under shotguns of that era. This solid frame shotgun shot black powder shells from that era, so shooting modern shells is not advisable. Winchester made 64,855 Model 1887 shotguns between 1887 and 1898 but model was discontinued later in 1901. In 1901 they start to make a Model 1901 that was basically the same gun, just slightly redesigned and with a stronger action that was safe to shoot smokeless powder shot shells. Deluxe versions has much higher value, especially if engraved.
