Browning Maxus Sporting
MAXIMUM RELIABILITY. MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE. Real-world reliability is the most important feature any manufacturer can build into a firearm. Thats why it was the first priority when we set about developing the Browning Maxus. The Power Drive Gas System is designed to perform under harsh hunting and shooting conditions with a wide array of loads. But reliability isnt the whole story. The Maxus delivers 18% less felt recoil for greater comfort, 44% less muzzle jump for more accurate follow-up shots, 19% faster bolt speed and 24% faster locktime than the nearest competitor. Unequalled reliability and features, all found in the finest, most reliable gas-operated autoloader ever to swing on a bird.
Marocchi SI12 F12GA24
The Marocchi SI operates on the principle of inertia utilizing kinetic energy caused by the recoil of the shell within the barrel. The system requires no outlet for gas or barrel recoil, but operates by means of a spring that situated between the bolt head and the bolt. Inertia operating system advantages The SI system is the newest type of reloading system. It has an extremely simple mechanism which need the minimum of maintenance, unlike normal gas-operated, semi-automatic shotguns, that need constant cleaning and maintenance due to gas discharge into the magazine tube. Less maintenance equals maximum durability. Barrel The barrel is made of St. Etienne steel. This softer steel allows for a better shot pattern with a more powerful and precise distribution of pellets. The most technologically advanced machines are used in the boring of the barrel and for the exterior profiling. The utmost accuracy is achieved in this precision manufacturing, making a major contribution to the safety and superb shooting characteristics of the SI. Special steel proof test The gun is tested by the Italian National Proof House with the special “Steel Shot Test.” The barrels are stamped by “Lily of France” as confirmation of this special test. This makes the gun suitable for shooting high performance steel shot ammunition 12(3”) with a pellet diameter up to 4 mm. Maxi SI 70 Choke Tubes: A set of 5 different choke tubes, covering a range of restrictions, are supplied with the gun. The long taper (cone length) ensures a tight shot group which maintains impact force and pattern density. They are ideal for use with steel ammunition (use choke tubes maked 3-4 or 5 dents only). SAFETY button on trigger guard. Ventilated Rib.
