Bolt Rifles Descriptions

Alfred Schilling Bolt Action Combination Gun

This is a Mauser action with normal rifle barrel and extra hammer lock on the left side of the receiver. The firing pin for the shotgun barrel goes on the side around the magazine. If you turn the under lever back 180°, the shotgun barrel below turns to the right to open the chamber for 20 or 16 shotgun or slug ammo, so you will have finally 6 shots totally. The rifle barrel can be all 7 and 8 mm calibers up to 9,3x62, combined with a 20 or 16 shotgun barrel. It is no take down stock, weight around 4,5 Kg with scope. For many generations the family name Schilling has been associated with Zella-Mehlis, a traditional rich gun making center in Germany. The first official record of a Hammermeister (master of a sledge hammer) in Mehlis, Caspar Schilling, dates back to 1648. The firm Alfred Schilling offers its own target/hunting rifle with an action reproduction originally made in Mehlis by Buechel and with a tapered octagonal barrel. It is available in the common hunting calibers, including those for shooting in built-up areas where a small caliber light report or more powerful calibers for big game are desired. There is also a lighter model for small calibers plinking or target shooting. Various styles of engraving and ornamentation are available, including gold and silver inlays of precious metal and stock carving. The action and parts are also available with the traditional color case hardening which is done in-house.

Browning A-Bolt Hunter

This rifle features a raised cheekpiece or comb which you can see in the profile above. This helps to direct recoil into the shoulder area and get the shooter's line-of-sight lined quickly with the scope. This rifle features a fine low-luster bluing on the barrel and receiver with a satin-finished walnut stock. It also bears the logo of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation on the grip cap. This is a tribute to the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and a percentage of sales from this rifle goes to help support habitat, range, health and studies of elk throughout the United States.
