This 308 Win cartridge by Federal Premium sports a 185 grain Berger Juggernaut projectile. This open tip match bullet is extremely accurate thanks to the method of its production -- because its lead core has been poured in through the opening in its thick jacket’s tip, its weight is perfectly uniform throughout. This bullet also features a boat tail design; Its tapered base reduces drag in-flight, giving it a more aerodynamic profile for a flatter trajectory and less wind drift. Bushmaster Var24 ATACS
Features a fluted 24 inch chrome-moly steel extra-heavy varmint barrel (one inch diameter out to gas block) and eleven degree competition muzzle crown. Coated bore and chamber. One in nine inch twist free-floated with a vented aluminum fore-end. Two-stage competition trigger (3.5 pound takeup, 1 pound letoff). Ships with manual and 5 round magazine.
