Rifles Descriptions
223 Rem - 45 Grain JHP - Remington UMC - 200 Rounds
It’s time to show the varmints who’s boss! (You.) This 223 Rem cartridge from Remington’s UMC line of ammunition is all set to pop varmints and predators all day long, and it’s also priced just right for target practice! This cartridge’s bullet is super light at 45 grains. It won’t deliver relatively much energy to its target at medium-to-long range, but its flat trajectory makes it fairly easy to hit smaller targets like prairie dogs. As a jacketed hollow point, the bullet is going to begin expanding and fragmenting immediately after making contact with its target. To be sure, you’d never want to get hit by this bullet (or any other bullet, obviously), but its wound channel may be a little too shallow to suit it for home defense applications. We say save it for the varmints! A UMC label round’s nonmagnetic bullet is seated in a new brass case, with the clean-burning primer-powder pairing it needs to reliably cycle a semi-auto and serve up predictable ballistic performance. Two hundred rounds to a box means the fur never has to stop flying!
