22 WMR - 25 Grain NTX - Winchester Varmint LF - 50 Rounds

This 22 WMR cartridge by Winchester is good for the planet, but not exactly nice to varmints like prairie dogs and woodchucks. That’s because it’s loaded with a 25 grain NTX projectile! The NTX is totally devoid of lead. If you’re headed out to do some shooting where toxic projectiles are banned, the NTX isn’t going to get you the wrong kind of attention. The NTX has an extremely concentric Advanced Manufacturing Process jacket and frangible copper alloy core, as well as a sharp polymer tip that markedly improves its ballistic coefficient. If the bullet collides with a varmint at the end of its flat trajectory, its tip will ram inward to build up great energy before connecting with the base of its nose cavity. You can imagine what happens next – KABLAMMO! Explosive fragmentation followed immediately by the demise of said varmint. “Quick and painless” doesn’t do the NTX’s terminal effect justice. Winchester gives Hornady’s NTX the top shelf brass, clean burning propellant, and non-corrosive rimfire primer it needs to deliver all its might. If you can see it, you can shoot it with this round’s 2,100 fps muzzle velocity!
