Detailed Review

The Walther UZI is a submachine gun that originated in Israel. It was developed by Major Uziel Gal in the late 1940s and was first introduced to the Israeli Defense Forces in 1951. The weapon was designed to be compact, lightweight, and easy to handle, making it ideal for use by military and law enforcement authorities.

The UZI is an open-bolt, blowback-operated weapon that fires from a closed bolt position. This means that the bolt remains forward until the trigger is pulled, at which point it moves to the rear to extract and eject the spent cartridge before moving forward to chamber a new round. The UZI is capable of firing in both semi-automatic and fully automatic modes with a cyclic rate of 600 rounds per minute.

The Walther UZI has a reputation for being reliable and durable, with many users reporting little to no malfunctions even after extensive use. The weapon was originally manufactured by Israel Military Industries (IMI) but has since been produced by several other manufacturers, including Walther Arms in Germany.

One of the unique features of the UZI is its folding metal stock, which allows the weapon to be collapsed for easy transport or storage. This feature also helps to stabilize the weapon when firing in full-auto mode by reducing recoil and increasing accuracy.

The UZI has been widely used by military and law enforcement agencies around the world, including the Israeli Defense Forces, the United States Secret Service, and various police departments in Europe and South America. The weapon has also become a popular choice among civilian gun enthusiasts, particularly those interested in military-style firearms.

In terms of ammunition, the UZI is typically chambered for 9mm Parabellum rounds, although some variants have also been produced to fire .22 Long Rifle, .45 ACP, and .41 AE rounds. The weapon is fed by a detachable box magazine, with capacities ranging from 20 to 50 rounds depending on the model.

In conclusion, the Walther UZI is a highly versatile and reliable submachine gun that has been used by military, law enforcement, and civilian users around the world. Its compact size, folding stock, and powerful yet controllable firing ability make it an appealing option for those seeking a potent firearm that is easy to handle and transport.

I've had this rifle for about a year now and it's been a fun little gun. It took a while to break in. It will jam about once every 60-100 rounds but the thing is more of a fun novelty at the range than anything else. My biggest complaint would be that fin

I purchased this rifle a couple months ago. The process was very easy and I received it at my ffl in 3 days. The weapon itself is great so far. I only have around 300 rounds through it, but have yet to have any issues with any ammo. Even the cheap stuff.

I love this little Uzi .22lr reproduction. It's a bit heavy, but super fun to shoot and has given me no problems with over 1000 rounds down range.
