The XDM has a lot of great qualities with very good reliability. And I really like the fact that it has 3 passive safeties ( trigger, grip, drop). The 3.8 version is my CC pistol

I've owned this gun for 5 years now. I never had a jam or a no fire. Shoots great. Cleans up great. I like the Spring Field so much I just bought a mod 2 for my carry gun do to the safty features and the dependebility.
