Springfield Armory's XD(M) Competition pistol from made from polymer and features superior ergonomics, reliable performance, and easy and intuitive to use. It has the longest slide and barrel which maximizes accuracy, controllability and sight radius. The sights, the fully adjustable rear sight and fiber optic front sight allow for startlingly fast sight acquisition. Its lightening cut in the slide reduces reciprocating mass which allows for faster cycling and allows a larger variety of loads to be used. Included is a match grade barrel, minimal-reset trigger, three 19-round stainless steel magazines.

This is a quality shooter. Out of the box it handles flawlessly and strikes the target where the sights are set. Springfield makes some highly accurate tools for use, I recommend giving this 9mm a try in your hand before you purchase another.

I love it. It is light weight, despite being a full size handgun. It's extremely easy to keep it on target with the fiber optic sights. With the short reset on the light trigger, it is no problem getting a second or third shot off.
