Pretty good deal for the money, so far has been very accurate and precise. Will absolutely melt fox with 0 for damage and pretty sure it would take down Bobcats and coyotes with well placed shots. Only 2 problems I have with this firearm is that the bolt

Very nice rifle

I bought one of these in the last week of October and harvested a trophy ten point in Missouri on the opening weekend of gun season a few weeks later. I'm mad at myself for not getting one in 308win. at the same time when the price was knocked down.

accu-trigger is awesome

I purchased this rifle before deer season, It was very easy to sight in and I was able to harvest 2 deer this season. It was $100 off which was an added bonus.

Completely satisfied.. I paid $371 for the gun and mounted a $220 Nikon Prostaff 4-12 on it. The only reason I bought this gun was for a bet with a longtime friend on who had the most accurate gun at 500 yards (at the time I had never shot a rifle at that

Check the rings

Bought this a few months back, finally made it to the range. Couldnt figure out why my shots were all over the place and then i tried to rotate the scope and the rings aren't tight at all. Not thrilled about that.

Beautiful rifle. The only issue I ran into is that Savage Arms sent the wrong scope and when I contacted them they game me the ruin around. After them seeing I wasnt letting up they finally "found" the correct scope and shipped it. But as usual, Bud's is

I have heard people complain about the accuracy of these rifles. Personally I'm not sure what problem they are having. I have a dandy in the one I bought from Bud's. I purchased factory bullets in 20 grain and 25 grain. At 100 yds the 25 grain bullets wer

I am surprised on how good the scope is. It took me about 7 shots to configure the scope but now ever shot is dead-on. I can't wait for hunting season!

I had an Axis with a "plastic" stock and it had more flex that a fly fishing rod. I bought this through Buds with the hope the wood stock would be stiffer. The transaction was fast and worry free. After putting about 50 rounds through it including a break

I recently purchased both the 3006 and 270 versions of the Savage AXIS II XP Hardwood Weaver. Both have excellent actions and shoot wonderfully straight out of the box. The accutrigger adjustment complements the value of the weapon. An excellent value for
