Detailed Review
Savage Arms 11 Scout is a rifle that is primarily designed for short to medium range shooting. The Scout is a bolt-action rifle that features a detachable box magazine and a synthetic stock with an adjustable comb. This gun is chambered in .308 Winchester, which is a versatile round that can be used for hunting or target shooting.
The Savage Arms 11 Scout has a 18-inch barrel, which makes it very maneuverable in tight spaces. The barrel is also threaded, allowing for the installation of a suppressor or other muzzle device. The rifle has a total length of 39.5 inches and weighs in at 7.8 pounds, making it easy to carry and handle in the field.
One of the standout features of the Savage Arms 11 Scout is its adjustable trigger. The AccuTrigger system allows the shooter to customize the trigger pull weight to their liking, which can help improve accuracy and reduce flinching. The rifle also features an adjustable rear sight and a fiber optic front sight, which provides a clear sight picture in low light conditions.
In terms of accuracy, the Savage Arms 11 Scout is capable of shooting sub-MOA groups out of the box. The rifle has a free-floating barrel, which helps to minimize barrel harmonics and improve accuracy. The bolt is also smooth and easy to operate, which can help with follow-up shots.
Another feature of the Savage Arms 11 Scout is its versatility. The rifle comes with a Picatinny rail on the receiver, which allows for the installation of optics or other accessories. The rifle also features a sling swivel stud, which makes it easy to attach a sling for carrying in the field.
The Savage Arms 11 Scout is a reliable and accurate rifle that is perfect for hunters, target shooters, and anyone looking for a versatile rifle that can handle a variety of tasks. Its adjustable trigger, adjustable sights, and Picatinny rail make it a great choice for customization, while its lightweight design and maneuverability make it a great choice for taking into the field.

October 4, 2018This rifle is outstanding. I have no buyers remorse. The action is smooth. I would say that the only issue I have with this rifle is the magazine. But other than that its amazing.

July 1, 2018The Savage 11 Scout is a great example of it's type. The rifle is accurate, and smooth shooting. While the 10 round magazine takes some getting used to ( having to rock in, similar to the AK platform) once you practice with it, it becomes easy. I love the

Sights were a little low but they are adjustable so that was an easy fix, very fun rifle and it shoots steel ammo no problem. Have run about 500rds and no malfunctions. Magazines are expensive though so wish this used some ar10 mags or some pmags, very co

April 11, 2018Great rifle for the price.
Very happy with this purchase. It's a great quality scout rifle. The only advice I would give is the magazines are very expensive and hard to find.

February 22, 2018Excellent firearm. Arrived in perfect condition. Put 40 rounds through it and sighted in the irons at 25 yds. Only needed minor adjustments to get dead on windage. Elevation need a bit more but at 25 yds that's not really surprising. Magazine worked great

December 12, 2017Other than the iron sights being off its good.
Iron sights are pretty bad off, other than that I can take it to the range all day with no wear on your shoulder (.308) . Find out what she can really do when my scope comes in.

July 23, 2017Absolutly amazing little rifle
I bought this gun and took it to a long range shooting course. I mounted a Vortex 6-24x50 (because I'm near sighted and need all the help I can get), and to my surprise, and the surprise of the instructors, this little rifle was reaching out to 1100 yards
