poor quality-would not buy again
bought mini 14 ranch 5.56nato early march. would not feed reliably 20 round mags. dry fire because did not feed then could not cock it, also rear site loosens after 10 rounds. back to ruger, replaced barrel & slide. now extractor would not always rele

Great Rifle!
I have four. Two .223's that shoot M.O.A. I also have two 300 blk that shoot near M.O.A. The mini-14 is capable of good shot groups at 100 yards. At the range I have no trouble besting the AR's. Very reliable! no blow back in the face like another popular

Brass ammo only
The Mini 30 in 7.62 does not like any ammo but brass cased. It's a well built firearm but will regularly jam and eventually lock up solid with any lacquered cased ammo. So the steel Com block stuff is out. I bought a windham weaponry AR platform from Cabe

Not accurate
I have the .223 and it's really fun to shoot but it's not accurate at all. I've tried 6 different factory loads in it with a good Nikon scope, then I bought a new Leupold for it and the best I can get is a 4" group at 100 yards. I don't have this pro

I love my mini 14 excellent gun won't buy an ar-15 after New York destroyed this gun this law doesn't change how the ar works . I would definitely recommend the mini 14 shoots great. added a Leupold 3-9-40 scope also
